- Plastic Bags: To hold smaller root balls or to wrap roots for short-term moisture retention.
- Wire or Twine: To secure the burlap around the root ball.
- Shovel: A sturdy spade for digging around the tree’s root system.
- Trowel: For more precise work close to the roots.
- Root Saw: To cleanly cut thicker roots.
