A lot of people say Chat GPT and OpenAI wouldn’t have achieved the success it has had without “transformers from google”. I set out to find out what that is.

GPT, as in ChatGPT and GPT-2, GPT-3, GPT-3.5, etc. stands for Generative Pre-trained Transformers.
