浙江炒年糕

Ingredients:

  • 年糕 - rice cake, cut into coins
  • 青菜 - Green vegetables like baby bok choy, cleaned and chopped
  • 猪肉丝 - pork, cut into about 1 inch strips or just ground pork
  • 蘑菇 - mushrooms, cut into about 1 inch strips
  • 生姜 - ginger, minced

First: marinade the pork for 15 minutes with the minced ginger + shaoxing rice wine and soy sauce.

Then, heat up a wok of oil and add the pork. When the pork yellows, add in the mushrooms. When the mushrooms are about half done, add in the baby bok choy, add in a little soy sauce.

After about 1 minute, add some water into the wok. About 1.5 cups.

When that water is boiling, maybe after about 2 mins add the 年糕. That should be ready pretty quick, it cooks fast.
